Talgarth Male Voice Choir

Formed in 1969 Talgarth Choir has been entertaining audiences for nearly 40 years. Over this period, hundreds of concerts have been given throughout the United Kingdom and a considerable sum has been raised for numerous charities. Although a large proportion of concerts take place within 30 miles radius of Talgarth itself, the choir endeavours, where possible, to also accept as many invitations from further afield.

They have sung at the Royal Albert Hall on five occasions, twice at the Millennium Stadium as part of the World Choir and three times in the Festival of Remembrance concert at St. Davids Hall, Cardiff. Exchange visits have also been made with Brixham Orpheus and Chelmsford Male Voice Choirs.

The choir has visited Holland as part of a combined Welsh Choir and have also had tours to Brittany, Spain and Belgium. This year, in May, the choir is visiting Belgium once again where they will be singing at the Menin Gate. June will find them appearing in the Millennium Centre, Cardiff, and in October they are in Brecon Cathedral singing in a joint concert with a London Welsh RFC choir.
