Fundraising - The May Madness Walk

The May Walk, in more ways than one, I may walk!!.

Did I say wet-yes it rained and it rained and it rained some more, but did it deter this intrepid band of walkers- No. Clad in waterproofs, wellies and brollies they were ferried from Wernwyn to Erw'Henallt. They set off up towards the hill at speed with Mutley in the lead as usual explaining the beautiful views, which were not always visible, then past pantllyn pool, or Padlin pool as Nelly calls it, then down the vally to Wernwyn their  final destination.

With the food ready , by Mairwyn (a better cook than walker )and Glenys ,it was time for a cuppa. We could hear voices-Ben and Evan had returned followed by the rest of the bedraggled bunch. They sat down to Hot Dogs and Wine. No event like this was complete without the ever popular Deal or No Deal organised by -you've guessed- Anne with Jean the winner.

Mutley thanked the walkers and cooks for turning up on a wet Sunday afternoon.
